Release day for Graeme Jefferies’ second solo album, ⚡️Canary in a Coalmine⚡️!

A product of COVID-19 isolation and Graeme’s special brand of creative intensity, we couldn’t be more excited for you to hear this album.

The color vinyl variations are extremely limited and only available through our Bandcamp site — It’s All Over Baby Blue vinyl (50 copies) has been the top seller so far. Pretty in Pink vinyl (100 copies) is trailing at this point. A few copies of the Bold Black vinyl edition (220 copies) are available from us, but the bulk of these are available in record stores today. We’d appreciate it if you’d ask your favorite store to stock it and our other releases, too.

Music “you deserve to listen to from a creative and productive” NZ legend. Music which “beautifully encapsulates that sense of emotional dislocation and isolation when the world shrank to the size of our living spaces.”

We're excited to announce the release of ~Canary in a Coalmine~, Graeme Jefferies' second solo album featuring all new songs, and his first official solo album since the seminal ~Messages from the Cakekitchen~ released in 1988!

We're taking pre-orders now from our Bandcamp site, and the album will be available in record stores beginning Friday, August 11! The title track is streaming now on your favorite digital platform.
