I was truly speechless standing before the Tasman Glacier. Ridiculously big, unfathomably deep — it felt both terrifying and breathtaking at the same time. ❄️⛰️ The Ball Hut walk itself carried its own story, washed out by landslides, raw and wild . .A short walk… but every step had to be taken with extreme care. More than 60% of the track was nothing but loose gravel, and I’m not kidding—I was scared so much .
We slept in the hut and whole night we could hear ice cracking and falling , I still dream of that glacier . It is like unforgettable dream. I could see deep layer of glacier from the top like Ridiculously massive piece of earth. I can’t express it but here are some pictures 😁
