What a brand photography shoot actually looks like behind the lens 👀

A few weeks back I teamed up with Anda Bulgakova | Brand Photographer | New Zealand and Anecdote Studio Creative Styling | Annabel Emery for a styled studio shoot featuring the Wellness by Ora 4D LED mask - full creative direction, full glossy final shots, exactly what you’d expect from these two.

My role on the day: capturing the content creation process itself. the set styling, the lighting adjustments, the in-between moments before the “hero” shot happens.

That’s the side of a content shoot most people never see - and it’s exactly the kind of collaboration that keeps this job fun.

Life as a small business owner in Wanaka, New Zealand.

Let’s be honest - not every day looks like this. 95% of the time I’m sitting at my desk in the spare room, and the only reason I leave the house is the gym, pilates, walking the dog, or grabbing coffee or snacks.

It’s not always this ‘glamorous’. It’s not always easy. But I wouldn’t change it 🙂
