Feeling restless in the quiet?
Reaching for distractions isn’t a flaw - it’s an attempt to quiet constant thoughts on repeat and/or unwanted emotions.
Contrary to what you might believe those thoughts and emotions aren’t here to disrupt your peace. They’re here to guide you back to it. Like an ignored child, the more you try to ignore them, the more persistent those thoughts become. And even if you are well practised at storing your unwanted emotions away, it takes a lot of energy to keep them hidden. And eventually, when you are worn down and weary and can’t hold them back any longer, they will show up, unwanted and perhaps unexpected and inconvenient.

What might happen if you chose to pause? Listen? Understand? Trust the message?

What might hapoen if you saw your emotions as messengers, instead of an inconvenience or problem?

If you’d like some support learning to befriend your emotions and unlock the wisdom they hold, I have space for a few free Clarity Calls next week.
Send me a message and I will forward you the booking link for a free 15 minute call. You can ask me anything about what I have to offer and there are options for all budgets - free resources through to 6 month coaching programmes and more in between.

Today is World Gratitude Day 🌍

For me gratitude isn’t just something I practice once a year - it’s a way of living, it's a feeling, a way of connecting more deeply with myself and with others.

That’s why I’m so delighted to share the 2026 Gratitude Diary by Giving Thanks (Melanie Spears). It’s not a planner, it’s a daily invitation to pause, breathe, and return to yourself.

Inside, you’ll find space to:
* Honour your worth by showing up just as you are, just you, your pen and the page.
* Welcome and express your emotions as messengers, guiding you toward what you value and desire
* Set up your day well and with clarity by setting your intentions and/or evening reflection on what went well, giving you an opportunity to celebrate your wins - big or small.
* Align your rhythm with the moon and cosmic cycles
* Stay grounded in your truth while deepening connection with yourself and others

Journalling isn’t about getting life “perfect.” It’s about creating a daily ritual of presence, reflection, and compassion, so you can nurture the most important connection of all: the one with yourself.

Such a beautiful gift for yourself or someone you love.

I still have days when bravery feels far away, when I’d rather hide from the world. But I want to remember for myself and share with you, perhaps wanting to show up, even when I’m feeling fearful, is actually an act of bravery.

I have had many moments in my life when I have felt judged as being “too much”. Sometimes I was the judge and other times I have either been shushed, told to rein it in or have sensed or assumed that others thought that about me.

To be honest with you, there are still moments when the old voice rises up, telling me I should tone it down, toughen up, or be less sensitive.

For a long time, I believed that voice. I thought my depth, my tears, my playfulness, my intuition, my way of feeling the world were flaws that needed fixing. I became pretty good at appearing unaffected and calm, when my internal reality was far from it.

Now I know better, I want to embrace all of my feelings and faces… and yet, I’m still human. I still hear the whisper sometimes. The difference is that now I can pause, soften, and remind myself:

“My sensitivity is my strength.”
“My awareness is my guide.”
“I am not too much - I am exactly who I am meant to be.”

If you’ve ever felt this too, I want you to know: you’re not alone. The path to honouring yourself is a practice, not a destination.

What if your sensitivity, your spark, your uniqueness were never the problem? What if they are your gift?“I walk my path...

What if your sensitivity, your spark, your uniqueness were never the problem?

What if they are your gift?

“I walk my path with grace - with or without external approval.”

Let’s begin normalising our sensitivity. Our own and other people’s. Let’s get curious and really listen with genuine intention for seeking understanding.
When we tap into our sensitivity - our ability to detect the subtleties of our emotional selves, we are open to opportunities to gather valuable feedback on who we are at our core and what is important to us. When we are numb, distracted or role playing to fit in, we are isolated from growth, deep learning and our own deep wisdom.

💕 if you are ready to see your sensitivity as your strength and self awareness as your super power.

I am not too much - my sensitivity is a strength, and my self-awareness is a superpower. The more I
know and honour myself, the more authentic my relationships become.
