First week of school holidays has been a wet cold one ..... I didn't take any cake orders so that I could spend time with my little princess 🥰.

I made some nice mild beef samosas yesterday for the wet cold Thursday.... so yummy.A great treat for these cold wet days🥰

‼️Cost of life and us humans‼️

Have you noticed how most Bakers or Shops trick you with prices?

They would advertise like this for example a 6"/15cm with three layers cake:
➡️Cost of cake $165

‼️But below in small print comes this:
➡️Cake topper $25 to $45 depending on detail
➡️Extras between $10 to $35 like flowers and extra decorations
➡️Name or wording either 50c or $1 per letter🫣 (so you would be looking at around $10 to $15 extra just to have your child's name on thr cake😡)
➡️Edible images extra cost $25 per A4 print
➡️Delivery between $15 to $45 depending on distance.

‼️So in actual fact you would be paying around $235 to $285 for a 6"/15cm 🫣

Here I give you a straight answer for your cake that includes everything. No extra cost for this and that or that‼️

And yet you think that I am expensive⁉️❓️

🔵We all human and the first price we see is $165 when these bakers post their prices in their posts.

🔵We don't realize this when we order things not only from bakers but normal shopping too.... it's just how life is🤦‍♀️.

🔵We see the big words "ON SPECAIL " or "MARKED DOWN" ...
And we run for it without thinking what the hidden costs are....what the trick is that draws us to these so called specials.

➡️It is too late when we get to the cashier infront to realize how expensive everything is🥺.

We do not put up a fight or argument,why? Because we need or want the stuff we just shopped for and because we cannot make ourselves look like fools when the person behind you is waiting for you to get done ....lol🤣.

My advice for you is to Shop wisely with your cakes too‼️.
Pay a decent and reasonable price for a great tasting top quality freshly baked cake like my cakes🥰.

DO NOT PAY FOR dry hard tasteless frozen cakes and overly sweet buttercream.‼️

My daughter's school celebrated Matariki today....they had a beautiful spread out for the children.
My little girl asked me to make her some cupcakes with blue stars ,for this special occasion. ...So I made her wish come true,the children loved these vanilla cupcakes with her blue stars🥰
