Today for Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori, three of our young leaders, Stella, Christa & Daniela, challenged tauira and kaiako with some arero whīwhiwhi🏆🗣️

Lots of laughs along the way, but we are so blessed as a kura to have such awesome tamariki and kaiako who are always willing to give it a go! 🙌🏽

A fun way to celebrate Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori, encourage the use of te reo Māori, and share the joy of waiata together. ❤️🤍🖤

at Rotorua Seventh-day Adventist Church (Fenton St)
​Please save the date to come celebrate our tamariki as they lead our worship!

​Our students will be sharing songs, Bible verses, thoughts, and key learnings centered on our theme of Building for Eternity. Bring the whānau for a special time of worship, community, and fellowship together. All whānau invited!

Happy Tongan Language Week! 🇹🇴✨

"Ko 'etau hiva, ko e fe'unu mahu'inga ia ki he mo'ui 'a e Tonga" — Our music is a vital strand of our Tongan culture.

We had such a special day celebrating Tongan Language Week together!

A huge Mālō to Mrs. Tavake for making delicious 'ōtai (Tongan drink) and keke (donuts with chocolate) for all of our students and staff. 🍹🍩

Mrs. Tavake wore her beautiful traditional Tongan clothes today. She explained to us that this special clothing is worn for church and to meet the King and Queen of Tonga.

We loved joining together to sing "Lau e Tohi Tapu" (Read Your Bible, Pray Everyday) in Tongan and saying "Lotu me'akai" (grace) before eating our yummy food.

Thank you, Mrs. Tavake, for your kindness and for sharing your culture with us!
