TATS AND TUNES AT OKAHUKURA

Tats and Tunes takes over Okahukura for a full-day fusion of ink and sound. Five talented tattooists—each with their own style, technique and flair—will be laying down flash, with options to pre-book or walk in on the day.

On the decks, a stacked crew of sound selectors will be hijacking your eardrums with everything from hip hop, RnB, soul, jazz fusion and liquid, to ambient, reggae, dub, 140, Amapiano, garage, jungle, bootlegs and more.

Daytime is koha at the door (only if you can).
After 10pm: $10 door charge.

House Rules:
No racist, sexist, homophobic or anti-semitic behaviour.
No passouts (you can step outside to chill, but not leave).
No leaving to grab drinks – this isn’t a pub. We come to dance, not drown.

There’ll be kai/platters and plenty of water available.
Two dedicated kaitiaki/guardians will be onsite to support anyone who needs it, clearly identified with name tags and info displayed throughout the space.

Security will be at the door from 10pm–1am to check IDs, manage entry and assist with any situations inside or outside.

A collaboration of creators with no bosses, no headliners, no hierarchy – just a collective of talented haumi coming together to throw down for Tauranga.
