I apologies for the audio as the room was very noisy, I tried my best to subtitle and isolate what I could. None the less I asked Paul Henry - ACT the same question I asked Christopher Luxon regarding our constitutional rights.

I got a far more detailed and thought out answer. Covering different angles and things to consider when talking about this subject. I got unique insight into Paul and ACT's position on this issue, confirming this is a concern for him and his party moving forward.

My follow up question which if given the time I would have asked is, "Why haven't you addressed this yet if you agree this is a genuine concern you have?"

Our lack of security regarding our rights in this nation is a real issue that should be on every politicians and citizens mind, however few have the ability to inact the change needed. David Seymour and his party are not in a position to do nothing. These reforms he eludes too need to be front and center, forcing the conversation passed a brief moment with a concerned kiwi like myself.

I appreciate the time he took and giving me more substance than our own Prime Minister, making me more concerned those in the political elite consider our rights a "luxury" that can be taken away when needed for control. If you care about the future of this country and what we plan to leave the next generation, please help force this topic into the spotlight. As Paul says himself, "it's close to too late".

I appreciate the time you have taken to read this, make sure to check out my video asking our Prime Minister the same question.

Every New Zealander MUST watch this! | The Man Behind Unite New Zealand | Working for the Truth Ep.1

New Zealand's final hope of a prosperous economy.

This is where it started.

In episode 1 of Working for the Truth, we sit down with the founder of Unite New Zealand to hear the story behind the movement. Why he walked away from security to write New Zealand a Constitution, what it cost him, and why he believes ordinary New Zealanders can change the country without waiting for permission from public officials.

This is not a political interview. It is the story of one person who decided the cost of living crisis was a choice, not an accident, and set out to prove it.

If it moves you, do four things.

Share this video with one person who needs to see it. That is how a movement grows.

Read the Constitution of New Zealand and sign the pledge: unitenz.org

Donate from $5 a week to keep this going: www.unitenz.org

Every share, every pledge and every dollar is what carries this from a conversation into a country that votes for it.

By the people, for the people, and for our children's future.

Awesome recording session! Can’t wait to see the final product.

Wow, 200 Followers. This is only the beginning.

Thank you to everyone who has joined my waka as we navigate through one of the most volatile times in recent history. Because of your genuine support I’ve had growing opportunities to expand this conversation and learn more about the society I hope to help change and secure for future generations.

I’m in talks with people I would never imagine knowing, I have followers that are considered real “kiwi influencers” and I hope one day to join them in their ranks. I have gotten involved with New Zealand’s future in ways I never thought possible until this platform gave me those opportunities. I thank every single one of you supporting me as without you I would just be talking into space.

If you have anyone in mind you think I should interview, from politician to your local community leader or someone else in between, please tag them or get them to reach out to my page via messages. I’m interest to have anyone on with any views if we can have a genuine conversation to expand my understanding as well as my audiences.

Stay safe and humble out there everyone, times are only likely to get tougher.

Cheers

Christopher Luxon on our constitutional rights -

I would recommend watching it through first before reading the below.

The biggest issue our country faces isn't China, or India, or the United States. It isn't a volatile world economy or ongoing conflict overseas. What we are facing is far deeper and impactful than anything the political elite talk about on camera for us to consume.

The more I learn and the more people I talk to, the issue becomes absolutely clear, our foundations are broken. The symptoms we can identify across the nation from economic pain to division caused by race all link back to one simple reality. New Zealand has no ratified constitution, no law of the land that unites us and protects us from those who wish to impose their will on others.

This impacts our rights, economic freedom, individual liberty and provides no platform for genuine accountability beyond an election every 3 years. This is why no matter who we vote for things feel the same and why the symptoms continue to get worse despite everyone claiming they have the answer.

So why has no one made this happen? If the answer is so clear why don't politicians make real change to benefit the people? One word, Power. If the system genuinely change to address our constitutional gaps, actions taken like during covid would be far harder to implement. If we had a constitution implemented like the Swiss or other democracies, the government would be giving away power back to the people. This in the view of those running the show cannot happen.

This is why Christopher Luxon calls this conversation a "luxury". This is why despite admitting the gap exists we can't deal with it. Because no one, red or blue plans to give away any power. Addressing this means the common kiwi is put back in the front of minds with every decision made. But as Christopher Luxon just pointed out to everyone in this video, our rights are the last thing on his mind.

If you are in anyway concerned with the direction this country is going, I employ you to dig deeper and learn more about how behind our foundational law truly is. The fact our "Bill of Rights" can be overturned with a simple majority in parliament with no safe guards or consultation should be enough to make everyone worried.

We are running out of time. A.I and other technologies are beginning to encroach on us everyday, with most democracies walking down the path they once fought to destroy. New Zealand must take action and force the conversation into the spotlight before we don't have a choice.

If you have made it this far I thank you for exploring this issue with me. This is my #1 concern and I feel should be everyone else's. Without strong, moral and protected foundations it's only a matter of time when our individual freedoms are completely stripped away, eventually leading to 1984, or destroying society completely as we know it. Make sure to check out my full video on this clip via my page if you want to hear more.

Cheers
