This year has been amazing ๐
I cultivated an abundant maara kai (garden) which had an array of different vege including kumara, hue, tomatoes, strawberries and much more๐ช๐ซ๐ฉ๐พโ๐พ
We made immense progress on our little whare (house) ๐ก
I attended a wฤnanga for some weeks which focused on a mothers wellbeing ๐ฅฐ I learnt so many life skills that Iโll be sure to treasure and teach my girls ๐
We created a crazy amount of core memories with our big girl Kyra-Lee that I am so grateful for. She is such a caring, inquisitive, sensitive, loving little girl๐ซถ๐ฝ
Me and Harding overcame barriers and peeled back lots of layers, ultimately bringing us closer together ๐
Me and my cousins were able to create a successful hunting comp for our local marae & hapลซ. Hopefully we can make the next one even better ๐๐ค๐ฝ
We done lots of hunting as a family of 3. Ivy-Lee isnโt a huge fan of the car so Iโm not sure how sheโll react next season ๐
I was gifted my engagement ring from JK jewellers ๐ฅน this still feels SO surreal! I wear it every day and it will be looked after with so much love ๐ค๐ฝ
I had a second c section to bring our fourth member of our wee family into this world. Carrying Ivy-Lee brought many challenges ๐ตโ๐ซ it was tough mentally and physically but looking back I would do it again, and probably be kinder to myself ๐
Cooked an insane amount of Kai ๐ฅช๐ฅฉ๐ณ๐ฅ๐
I developed a ridiculous obsession/addiction to Nature Baby clothes. Iโm glad to say that phase has passed and Iโve come to my senses ๐
We carried on our tradition of sponsoring children for Christmas ๐๐๐๐ฝ
We moved out of my parents/ our papakainga to have a proper go at being a family on our own. And although I have enjoy the space, I really do miss the feeling of my family being right there. If anything the move has motivated us to keep saving and keep chipping away at our house โ๏ธ
I had a really successful โworkโ year in terms of the opportunities and contracts I have been able to carry out. I have been so lucky to create promising connections with a few big brands which is how I can turn this fun little online gig into an actual career ๐
There are so many milestones and memories that I am probably missing but all of them big or small are so special to me ๐ซ
And to wrap this up I just want to say a big thank you to you all. I am truly grateful for the support you all show and I canโt wait to walk into the new year with an amazing community ๐ฅฐ
