Our Te Puna U11 Blue team in the hype, repping the JMC and Club @ Eden park last weekend. I also understand they were filmed on Sky sport prior to the All Black v Australia test. Mana moment for our rangatahi !!🫡

Te Puna Development Team vs Matakana Island

Te Puna Development made the trip across to Matakana Island, a place with deep whakapapa ties and a strong connection to our club that goes back generations.

It was a tough battle on the field, but Te Puna came away with the win.

A special highlight of the day was the recognition of two past Te Puna players from the Moutere, Aaron Samuels and Cyril Murray, who were both honoured at the aftermatch with their 100th Game Blazers.

This team holds a special place within our club culture. A strong lifting arm is always crucial in any 750ml environment, and the Home Guard proudly carry that standard.

A milestone moment came when Ange Withers made history as the Home Guard’s first women’s player, debuting against the Papamoa Potbellez.

Te Puna Premiers v Rangataua and also Jesse Church 100th. Rangataua struck first with a try early in the first half, however Te Puna rallied and managed to take control of the game with tries to James Brown, Jesse Church and Jone Vucago.
