This year has been a journey of taking big leaps, moving to a completely new country, far from my family and friends, while navigating an 11-hour time difference. The excitement of a fresh start has been accompanied by some unexpected challenges.
It’s been incredibly tough, not just in adjusting to a new environment, but also in facing the difficulty of finding a job. It’s hard not to feel overwhelmed when you're used to being productive and working towards your goals. Suddenly, you start doubting your skills, questioning your worth, and feeling lost in a place that still feels foreign. After years of building a career, sitting at home as a "housewife" feels like a stark and unsettling contrast. The routine, or lack thereof, can make the days blur, leaving you to wonder if you’ll ever regain the momentum you once had.
In response to these feelings, I created this piece as a way to motivate myself to trust the process. It’s easy to let self-doubt take over, but I remind myself that this is just a phase, not the end of the journey. Every step forward, no matter how small, is part of something bigger. I’m learning patience, resilience, and how to adapt in ways I never had to before. This experience is shaping me for the better, even if the rewards aren’t immediately visible.
I believe that I will find something that aligns with my skills and passions, and I know that everything will work out in time. Until then, I choose to trust myself and the journey, holding onto the assurance that I am capable, worthy, and that everything will be okay.
