Waihi Toy Library Waihi Toy Library is a Charity Organisation providing Toys to Parents and Grandparents of the Waihi Community.

Open to all...........yearly subscriptions cost $20 per Family or $15 for Grandparent members. Toys to hire cost from 50cents up to $5 per fortnight.

Kia Ora Toy Library Members,
I would like to introduce you to two new toys. The Hape Fire Station and Duplo Camping Adventure Set. These two toys will be available to rent from this Wednesday, 25th October 2023.

Kia Ora Waihi Toy Library Members.
As you can see, some of our volunteers have been working to clean up our Toy Library. They have scrubbed and cleaned, sorted toys, and thrown out toys that are no longer in working order. Some of our older toys that were still good have been donated to the Kōhanga Reo. They are very grateful for our donations.

A huge shout out to Naomi, Chantelle, Nikita, Judy and Elise for all of their hard work. Thank you so much guys!

We will be introducing some new toys over the coming term. The expensive toys that have been purchased will be rented out at $5 for the first 6 months. This is in hope that they will be respected and live to see a long life.

Finally, on Saturday 30th September, (next Saturday) the Toy Library will be closed. This is simply because our volunteers are all away with their families. If you have toys that are due back then, please hang on to them for an extra week free of charge.

I would like to say a HUGE thank you to Paul Goodwin from MDU Ltd for cleaning a large chunk of our toys using his fancy machine. This was done free of charge as a service to our community. Thank you Paul!

We will continue to use his services periodically as the service provided is one of a kind in New Zealand, and the disinfection process is extremely thorough.

Good evening Toy Library Members!
I would like to introduce you to some new toys that we have purchased for your enjoyment. Thank you for your on-going support and for taking care of the toys that you borrow. It means we can build up a wide range of stock instead of simply replacing what we have. Thank you.

Kia Ora Waihi Toy Library Members.
We will be opening from 9.00am - 10.30am tomorrow instead of our usual 10am - 12pm. I am sincerely sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you.
Unfortunately a beloved friend and sister in the faith has recently passed away and we would like to attend her funeral. Thank you for your understanding.
