🌸 NEW RELEASE — Floral Birthday Card

Buy my art for someone you love.

I’ve just released this new floral birthday card featuring one of my original paintings — created here in Waikanae, New Zealand.

I love the idea that original art doesn’t always have to hang on a wall. Sometimes it can simply be something beautiful you send to someone special.

Art you can afford to share.

A thoughtful birthday card for a mother, daughter, sister, friend, wife, aunt — or anyone who loves flowers and something a little more personal.

Mountains on My Mind ... almost finished!
Last week, I began painting these mountains with no reference photograph and no set plan - just imagination, colour and intuition. A few final touches to go ... sharing the journey - creative everyday. Nicky x (Waikanae Paper Artist)

Mountains on my mind… Day 2 🏔️🌸

A little more progress today — building the mountains, softening the water and adding a burst of flowers in the foreground.

Now I’m leaving it to dry overnight before adding the finishing touches tomorrow. 🎨

I love sharing the process, not just the finished piece. Hopefully it encourages someone else to simply have a go at something they’ve always wanted to try. 💗

Mountains on my mind tonight… 🏔️🎨

Started this one at 8pm with no real plan — I simply felt like painting mountains, water and a little wild landscape.

This is one of my favourite parts of intuitive painting — watching something slowly emerge without quite knowing where it will take me.

A few layers in and it’s already changed several times!

I’m leaving it here for tonight… let’s see where these mountains take me tomorrow. 💙

🌸 Brighten someone’s day with a little handwritten note.

With all the winter chills and bugs going around, it’s the perfect time to let someone know you’re thinking of them. 💗

This gorgeous note card features my own original hand-painted floral artwork and is blank inside — ready for your own words, whether it’s get well soon, thinking of you, miss you, or simply I care.

There’s something rather lovely about receiving an actual handwritten card in the mail. 💌

Who could you brighten the day of this week?

A glimpse inside my creative process as a self-taught intuitive artist in Waikanae, New Zealand. Layers of pink, plum, gold and touches of blue slowly become an expressive floral garden — painted freely, without a plan, and simply allowing the artwork to evolve. Now it dries - and tomorrow let’s see - how it evolves. Nicky

🌸 My art. My journey.

I’m a self-taught artist, learning something new and creative every day — experimenting, discovering and simply enjoying where creativity takes me.

Have you ever heard that quiet inner voice asking, “Hey…what about me?” 💜

My newest blog post is about finding your SOUL—your Sense Of Unique Life—and giving yourself permission to begin, create and become more of who you truly are.

I’m sharing my paintings in progress, the small moments that inspire me, and the beginnings of an exciting new dream: my home art studio planned for 2027.

I would love you to read it—and tell me: what is something you have always wanted to begin for yourself?
