𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝗕𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗸 (AKA Bad Jelly Ben), and I host the new interview series Tonal Tapestry - an investigative adventure which delves deeper into tools of the trade for musicians.
𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻, 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 around the Waitakere Ranges, Tamaki Makoro.
𝗜 𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿, hiking & watching re runs of Tux Wonderdogs. I also spend the majority of the time working on music under the artist title - Bad Jelly Co.
𝗠𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗷𝗼𝗯 𝗶𝘀 training Wonderdogs.

𝗜𝗳 𝗜 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗡𝗭'𝘀 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀, it would be to feel over flash.

I think the image that NZ Music projects like NZ Music Month, NZ On Air Music funding - and the like - should open their circle up to NZ musicians who need the most support, artists who are working towards bigger potential. NZ On Air's funding criteria should be loosened up to allow more opportunity for new musicians and NZ Music Month should be also supporting upcoming artists/bands that are working entirely independently on their own funding from their wallets, especially if they are making money selling products & using it as a commodity. More community support is also needed between Kiwi musicians to help each other reach higher benchmarks.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝗜 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗡𝗭 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰?
How one can hear the effect that our beautiful landscapes have sonically embedded within NZ music
𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 being preoccupied with returning home to the studio for a sonic session.

They are, by far & hands down, the best and hardest working, passionate team that is dedicated to helping every single NZ musician out there. And all for non-profit. Are they angels? Or just merely GC's. I'd say both.
