Puketapu Radio 756 AM Puketapu Radio 756am & Gift Shop has been on air since 1999 and is a voluntary organization.

Located in the BNZ Building, run by volunteers, fully purpose Radio Studio manned daily by announcers who keep the community updated on news, weather, and community events. The shop has a great range of secondhand books, jigsaws, souvenirs, travel, and local information. Also, a great range of giftware for all ages, a must see to grab a Gift.

Preparing the question cards for tomorrow afternoon's 'Open Mic' election event at the Waihemo lodge hotel. Why the cards? Well, not everyone is comfortable raising questions in public or prefer to stay anonymous. These cards give those people also a voice in this election. All questions will be read out and put to the candidates by incumbent Gary Kircher - Mayor for Waitaki.

Callling all artists & creatives!

The Puketapu Pop-Up art exhibition is on again this year, and now open for entries.

All mediums accepted - painting, photography, collage, fabric, wool, glass, ceramics - you name it! As long as it's inspired by something in Waihemo Museum (inside the Puketapu Radio 756 AM gift shop), no bigger than A4 size, and can hang on the wall.

Entry forms can be picked up from Puketapu Radio, and are due 23rd November. The art will be on display throughout December + January.
