Current Rodney Local Board members Ivan Wagstaff and Tim Holdgate, representing the Warkworth subdivision, have been returned on provisional figures.

Wagstaff, who topped the poll, says he believes that the Local Board connected well with the community during the last term, and people saw the results.

“I pretty much campaigned by letting our record speak for itself,” he says. “I think people could see they had someone in their corner.”

Wagstaff says he is looking forward to the next term, which will be his second on the board.

Four candidates contested the subdivision, with David Robb and Taabeta Tebau being unsuccessful.
