Yippee... success at long last!! I've finally got to the bottom of the streaming issue, and consider it solved. Thanks so much for your patience & suggestions (most of them nice😆😎)!!

Now I can focus on adding new stuff to the playlists, and once again would appreciate any leads you can provide.

G'day all, most will be aware the radio stream has been down for a few days while I'm resolving the streaming issues a few have been experiencing. The solution isn't leaping out at me so I'm varying components to resolve once & for all!
Good news - the ww.tlcradiowindy.co.nz stream is back available albeit in a slightly different form - a cutdown playlist from the FM, rather than a mirror broadcast.
The stability of the stream should be way better, so have a listen and please email me your thoughts at [email protected]

Anzac Day is playing out a little different this year but as always, "Lest We Forget", it is still a very special day to remember those Kiwis killed in war AND honour our returned, and serving, servicemen and women.

The song below is one that I have enjoyed & still treasure from when I first heard it in Aug 1983. "And the Band Played Waltzing Matilda” tells the story of a young Australian soldier who loses both his legs after a bomb attack at Gallipoli during the First World War. Eric Bogle, who has lived in Australia since 1969, was inspired to write it after watching an ANZAC Memorial Parade.

John Prine, the raspy-voiced country-folk singer whose ingenious lyrics to songs by turns poignant, angry and comic made him a favorite of Bob Dylan, Kris Kristofferson and others, died on Tuesday in Nashville. He was 73.
