6-7pm, Wednesday 3 December: Now and then meets Crip the Lit
Free event: Three poets from Landing Press’s generations anthology, Now and then, are reading their poems as part of the ‘Are you my ancestor?’ event run by Crip the Lit and Verb Wellington.
Join Mike Gourley, Robyn Hunt and Trish Harris as they mark International Day of Disabled People with literary flair – and a nod to the past. They and other Crip the Lit writers will present an eclectic line-up of snappy poems and prose celebrating the rich world of disability ancestors.
Crip the Lit advocates for d/Deaf and disabled writers of Aotearoa having their unique voices, perspectives and stories included and valued in mainstream writing.
You can turn up on the day, or register to secure your spot. This event is NZSL interpreted.
