F**k Running, where you run and say “Fuuuck” every couple of minutes…
But seriously, I don’t know who needs to hear this, but running is not just sprinting, only slower.
I always thought it went:
Standing → Walking → Jogging → Running slow → Running fast → Sprinting.
Maybe it was being autistic and fast that meant no one thought to tell me that jogging, running slow, and running fast are not just sprinting at a slower pace.
The breathing? Completely different.
The foot strikes? Not even close.
The arm movements? A whole different game.
They say, “Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.”
But they don’t say:
→ Your stomach should be relaxed.
→ When you breathe in, you should fill your belly with air first.
If you’re trying to run distance on the balls of your feet, with your core braced like you’re ready to sprint—you’re in for a world of hurt.
This is why I hated running. Why I got so frustrated. Why I only enjoyed things where I could sprint and recover.
But after clocking over 180 ten-kilometer runs last year, I’m starting to feel comfortable talking about this.
If you’re interested in childlike wonder, a love for anime, mindfulness, spirituality, a desire to change your reality, or some chaotic combination of all the above…
Then I invite you to stop reading.
Relax your belly.
Take a deep breath in—fill your belly first, then your lungs.
Hold it for as long as you can.
Sneak in one quick breath through your nose.
Exhale fully.
One more deep breath in… hold it…
Now consider this:
This breath is every limiting belief you have.
The ones telling you there’s no way you have the power of a god within you.
That you can’t create the life you desire.
And yet, if you keep holding onto your limiting beliefs—if you keep holding your breath—you will die.
(Or at least pass out.)
So let them go.
Congratulations. You just created a new reality.
One where you get to live without limiting beliefs.
What are you going to do now that you’ve awakened?
If you made it this far, tag a friend who could benefit from taking a DEEP breath.
Take a look around, because Here, There Be Gods.
And am I gonna leave?
Namaste Right Here.
Stay Gods!!
