Curves ahead of the curve.

Our client asked for a curve to be incorporated into her family’s kitchen design... way back in 2011! When everybody else was all about straight lines and angles, she instinctively knew that the softness it would bring would be welcoming.

This was my first residential kitchen design 🤍 and in my humble opinion, the design still looks good, 14 years later.

As a thoughtful and generous host, thinking about how her kitchen welcomed family and guests was a genuine consideration. To me, this reinforces that authenticity is timeless.

H O M E. This was a wee thank you gift I gave a special client one year because I knew she got it.

Her gorgeous new build was full of thoughtful, refined design details. It was also full of pragmatic, easy-living functionality and personality.

Testimonials feel like love letters that I would reply to on scented note paper, handwritten in ink, sealed with wax and attached to a red rose.

Positive relationships are the peak of joy for me.

Letting this pendant have its moment 🤍

The Petrine Triple Pendant finished in Midnight Brass spans almost 1.5m and fit the “stunning light fitting” client brief. It manages to be artful and impactful yet understated — perfect!

Our clients sought to transform their Ohariu Valley kitchen into a space that could handle the demands of family life while creating a welcoming, sophisticated setting for friends to come together.

In the open plan space it shares with living and dining areas, the back wall cabinetry has an interesting but more subtle character. The island was always to take centre stage, crowned with a stunning pendant.

From our client brief—“A beautiful clean canvas where everything is out of sight except for a gorgeous vase of flowers, a piece of art, a bright bowl of garden harvest and stunning light fittings.”

There it is, the humble pantry. It may not have the glamour status of a splash-back or island in kitchen design but it is something our clients LOVE to get sorted. Problems With Pantry are usually part of the brief for our kitchen renos and finding a solution is definitely a gift that keeps giving.

From being too small, positioned in a corner, deep unused shelving, big heavy doors that get in the way... the daily assault on everyday activities is a kitchen layout problem that needs to be solved.

From our client brief: “We’re in need of smart storage solutions... the pantry layout is awkward and impractical.”

Now it’s not. Yay!!
