A sneak peek of our forthcoming edition of Vincent Ho's new piano collection, The Twelve Chinese Zodiac Animals, Book 2.

The first volume will include six preludes and fugues – the scurrying “Rascally Rat”, lumbering “Mighty Ox” (with an implacable fugue subject made up of cluster chords), playfully dancing tigers, “Jubilant Rabbit” (portrayed through lolloping upwards and downwards arpeggios), freely “Soaring Dragon”, and sinuously slithering “Spirited Snakes”.

Listen to Nancy Dahn and Timothy Steeves talk about their experience meeting Vincent and workshopping the music before the premiere.
