An Evening Without Kate Bush is an award-winning cult cabaret paying glorious tribute to the music, fans and mythology of one of the most influential voices in pop music. Performer Sarah-Louise Young is on the line from 5.10pm ahead of three shows at the Hannah Playhouse this weekend.

'In The Green' is a one-act musical by Grace McLean telling the extraordinary story of Hildegard von Bingen, a visionary woman who became a healer, composer, exorcist, and saint. Opening at BATS Theatre next week, director Alexandra McKellar, musical director Gayle Hammersley and actor Caitlin McDougall join me in the studio from 5.25pm.

Dazzlehands, the award-winning story of the persuasive pig who won’t take no for an answer, has been adapted into a moving and grooving ballet for the school holidays by the Royal New Zealand Ballet. Creative Director Lauren Byrne is here at 5.40pm to discuss this new family ballet experience. Dazzlehands opens at the St James Theatre this weekend before touring to Kapiti and Upper Hutt.

Two fantastic guests on In The Neighbourhood tonight at 5pm!

First up, Amy speaks to poet, musician and composer Cadence Chung about her new book of poetry, Mad Diva, published by Otago University Press. Mad Diva is launching on April 8th at Meow, then Cadence is touring to Auckland, Dunedin and Christchurch. Listen in to hear about Cadence's inspirations and even get a sneak peek (sneak listen?) at one of the poems!

Then we chat to Miki from School Strike 4 Climate Pōneke about the strike to repeal the Fast Track Approvals Act coming up on April 11th. The strike is meeting at 12pm at Frank Kitts Park - get along and show your support!

ACCESS ALL FLAVOURS: Recipe book launch, April 15th.

We've got some exciting news - we're about to launch a new recipe book, and you're invited!

'Access All Flavours' is a recipe book by, for, and about the Wellington Access Radio communities. The event will feature a special address from Beth Brash, Wellington On A Plate Festival Director, and food, snacks, and meals from the book will be served.

The book is full to the brim with delicious dishes from the stations programme-makers, staff, friends and whānau. Each recipe has its own meaningful story, from dishes made by beloved grandparents, meals that connect people to their cultural heritage, and family favourites that have stood the test of time. With stunning illustrations by artist Pinky Fang, the book is set to become an essential part of everyone's kitchen.
