Kia ora, everyone...

On Sunday 23rd February at 11am,I pay tribute to Toni Huata who has passed away recently in a special myself and the team of Wellington Access Radio 106.1FM have put together in an exclusive tribute to the lady who changed Maori music forever here in New Zealand and abroad as I've known Toni for almost 30 years.
You can listen in on Wellington Access Radio 106.1FM for this special tribute as I talk to Adrian Wagner, her husband and Mahinarangi Maika who has worked with Toni on various projects in the early 2000's and play a few of her well known songs in Te Reo Maori since her debut in 2000.
So do tune in as we remember Toni Huata for her work and her life in the light of her passing.

Hello, my dear listeners!

It has been a while since I last wrote a post for my Songwriters Show here on Facebook.My show is still going strong as it's coming up to nearly 20 years since I first started way back in April 2005.(Gosh, how time really flies!). I would really would like to let you know that you can look up Terry's Songwriters Show on our website at www.accessradio.org.nz if you are interested in tuning to my show in recent times.
You can also look up previous shows on Spotify if you go to Terry's Songwriters Show on Wellington Access Radio 106.1FM.
My show goes to air on Saturdays at 2:30pm where it has always been in that time slot since I first started showcasing unknown songwriters since 2005.
For all the songwriters I've showcased for the last 19 years,I am proud to have given people an opportunity to showcase their original music as I have discovered them from open mic nights, jam nights around the Wellington region.Sometimes see the odd busker if they have originals as well.
I hope you all continue to tune in to my show where it goes to air on Saturdays at 2:30pm.Long may it continue!
