📍Mt Fyffe Summit, Kaikōura 🥾🏔️🤌

If you’re after jaw-dropping views without the crowds, the Mt Fyffe summit track is an underrated gem in the coastal town of Kaikoura, that needs to be on your radar. Located 2.5 hours drive from Christchurch. 🚙

The return hike will take you about 7-8 hours (depending on your fitness and how many stops you make) to complete. It is steep and quite the slog….worth it though!

At the top, you’re rewarded with incredible 360° views of the mountains, ocean and peninsula 🤌

Tips:

•Best tackled on a clear, calm day – the track is exposed and can be very windy in bad weather 🌬️
•Bring layers – it gets chilly fast 🥶
•Stay overnight at the hut to witness the sunset and sunrise 🌅
