Well.... race day at Ashburton Speedway .
Early start to the day dragging kids outta bed @6.am. got them sorted and loaded up. Beauty morning and Alicia's excitement building the closer to the track we got... pulled into pits unloaded 2. Karts as was loaning one the a buddy from club whose kart wasn't ready. Fired it up to find it had a knock in the bottom end. So quick barrel change with the junior engine I had in trailer and motor swap we had it ready to race. Track was looking a bit on the rough side after the rain the other night.
Managed to get karts to turn a few laps to see how it really was. After what im sure was a tough decision but the right one it was decided to pull the karts from the program. As gutting as that is safety 1st and everyone and machines ready to race another day. After that we stayed and watched some great racing from the other classes.

Still spots left ...could be as cheap as a $1 to get your name on the tshirt and help alicia out.
