Here's your progress results e te whānau, which include all votes received up to midday on Friday, (10 October). Those votes received up to midday today are yet to be counted, along with special votes. So these results could change. Preliminary results will be issued āpōpō (Sunday, 12 October) and will include all votes collected today. With a final declaration of results available by Friday, 17 October 2025.
Candidates stood and voters answered - progress election results show a new Council taking shape for the Whakatāne District.
Votes also show that Māori Wards are here to stay.
