Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University Of Wellington are in Whanganui promoting their university to senior high school students in the region. Noted for its close proximity to Wellington, the university’s student advisers and representatives identify perfect opportunities in Whanganui for young people should they pursue tertiary education at their establishment.

“Kanaky is the indigenous name for New Caledonia, and I was compelled to write this song seeing the riots there last year,” explains Lehali.
