We want to thank Anime & K-Pop Festival New Zealand and the team for choosing our Art Charity as their Festival's first charity.
The team behind the very first Anime & K-Pop Festival New Zealand were kind and gracious to allow us to work with them as we set up our trust to help up and coming Northland District amateur artists leanr from amazing local, national and overseas Artisans and Creatives to get them on their road to being professional Artisans through a 12 month Mentorship Programme we are developing with local Artisans and Advisers.
Our expectation is that the charity will deliver a vocational style mentoring training to help advance the chosen applicants in their field in the area of Sequential Art through our foundation.
Northland, and especially Whangarei has some of the most talented and skilled Artisans in their field in the world. We want to bring those Artisans together with our first 3 chosen applicants in 2023 and help them reach their goals.
We want to begin a journey with the Art Sector in Whangarei and Northland that will help develop the next generation of professional Artisans and Creatives to keep our Districts vibrant with arts and a place where artisans come to call home and help develop the next generatio after them. And, so on.
It is also my hope that we also provide a place where they can also have an actual business outlet where they can, IF, they so chose to be a part of.
This is where Zeolandia comes in as an Entertainment Company.
In 2005, Zeolandia will start a STARTUP entertainment company which wil focus on:
1. Sequential Art, (comics, manga, manhua, manwha, light novels)
2. Visual Novels (picture books, 2D & or, 3DCG Digital Visual Novel games)
3. Boardgames (3D figures, Rolepalying games, Trading Card Games)
All of the above will be part of the Fantasy Universe called Zeoalandia™.
The whole idea behind this is that we not only provide an avenure to further develop what our SAF students already have a passion for but also look at providing them a LOCAL BUSINESS which will be here for them to gain employment locally.
Thus allowing them to stay local and in turn by doing so, invest not only in their future but in the Arts community as a whole for who also have a similar passion. Theregfore, the cycle of community growth will continue for future Artistisans.
I understand that this may seem like a huge undetaking, but as a local buiness owner who loves the arts and wants to see a vibrant Arts Sector in Northland for future generations, I feel now is the time for me, us to act.
The advance of digital age continues to influence our lives so, we must take advantage of all thats on offer, as well as help our youth and not so youthful fulfill their own aims in life.
Will you as an Artisan and Professinal Creative get behind our mentorship program?
Will you make yourself available to mentor our students who are looking to get into the same fields?
Will stand up and make yourselves available to the 3 successful applicants?
And, finally if you are a local or, national business owner would you support the Arts in Northland via donations to the trust, or even help our successfull applicants with business mentorship.
Business mentorship for Artists is the most weakest point in an Arts life as we just want to create, and this we forget the value of learning business. So, we would love for you to partner up with us once we get up and running, soon.
Finally, thank you taking the time to look at, and read this.
