Molly lives her best life in Auckland! Sired by our handsome Spanky and mama Ziva, Molly really is the perfect mix of the two. ❤️

She’s loving like Daddy, sassy like Mama, with a little bit of finesse all her own! 😂💕

And just like both her mum and dad, she’s an absolute water baby — if there’s water around, Molly is never far away! 💦🐶

Beautiful, full of personality and very much a Sivad girl. 🖤✨

🐾 THREE GENERATIONS • ONE COMMITMENT TO HEALTH 🐾

There’s something incredibly special about having three generations of our Bulldogs together. ❤️

Jojo • Spanky • Lacey

It all began with Jojo, our foundation English Bulldog, specially chosen from Ridgidbully Kennels to become the foundation on which we would build our own Bulldog generations here at Sivad.

From Jojo came the next generation, including Spanky and his sister Darla, whom we bred ourselves.

And now we have Lacey — Darla’s beautiful daughter and Jojo’s granddaughter. Having a little piece of Darla still here at home with us through Lacey is an absolute delight and makes this next generation particularly special. ❤️

So while these three might look like Grandma, Uncle and Niece sitting together, behind this photo is a family tree that means an enormous amount to us.

For us, breeding across generations isn’t simply about producing puppies. It allows us to build knowledge and history within our own lines — learning from each generation and using that information to make thoughtful decisions about the next.

Health testing plays an important role in that journey. Our Bulldogs are assessed for hips, patella, spine/hemi-vertebrae, RFG breathing, heart and DNA, alongside careful consideration of temperament, structure, type and overall soundness.

There are never guarantees when breeding living animals, but every generation gives us more information to work with — and that knowledge is invaluable.

Bulldog cup runneth over today. Massive thanks to Tracey Service & Joshua Sinclair for organizing a Bulldog beach meetup today in Orewa. Pearl & Ziva had a blast. Lovely to see baby Freya (Jojo/Paker) out and about too.
