We teach 7 hatha yoga classes of 75 minutes at 5 venues in Whangārei district.

2 classes that are in close by areas are our Monday and Wednesday evening ones.
Hatha Yoga with Shraddha Yoga and Meditation and Whangarei City YOGA re-starts this week at the Mangakahia Sports Complex upstairs lounge and the Kara Kokopu Community Hall!
Come and join Rishi Iyer in either (or both!) of these 2 Maungatāpere-Mangakahia local yoga classes, with small groups of exceptionally friendly people from the neighbourhood.
When:
Monday and Wednesday 5.30 - 6.45pm
(throughout Term 4. OCT 6 - DEC 18.)

•WEDNESDAY - Kara Kokopu hall. 527 Kara Rd, Maungatāpere
Our students:
All students work at their own pace and level. So people from different backgrounds and walks-of-life in the community have come to yoga class with their own prior knowledge - sometimes lots, sometimes a little - and their own current abilities in different aspects of physical movement that are involved in doing yoga asana (varies from pose to pose and person to person), to make up new yoga classes with the community 'feel'... that means that most levels are there in the class already, even when the class is very small - usually including someone who is close to being an absolute beginner and also some older people - new participants slot into place nicely and are always warmly welcomed. You work how you can and always pay attention to signals from your own body.🙂🌸🧘♂️

This is a highly personal journey, whether done in a group or solo. You come to class with certain needs and expectations, such as improving in various ways on the physical level or becoming gradually more focused, clearer and calmer. Group energy can help the process, as can the advice of a teacher, but it is all for you to experience and explore; there are a myriad of physical, mental and emotional benefits ... and also what could be called spiritual or soulful benefits too - higher energy and expanded consciousness opens us up to the possibility of new ways of experiencing our life and realms of existence.

Investment:
Concession cards are the best value. They do not expire (use what's left at the end of Term 4, 2025 when you return in 2026) and can be shared with friends/whānau, if you choose to do that.
•22 classes for $210;
•11 for $110;
•5 for $70
or
•$20 casual rate for any one of our 75 minute classes (reduced to $15 per class with SGC/CSC)
We offer traditional hatha yoga (authentic/classical yoga poses, with breathwork) and include a short yoga nidra (deep relaxation) in the last 10 minutes or so.
