It's been an incredible week in France at Festival international du film d'animation d'Annecy with the highlight participating in a panel about the future of animation in Aotearoa New Zealand. Quite an honour to be asked to speak on this panel, with the opportunity to share a bit about my work producing our stories in the animated form.

None of this would have been possible if it wasn't for our incredible creative collaborators, who's artistry and storytelling vision continues to inspire me. Coming to market's like this is incredibly important in progressing our projects forward and elevating our work to stand alongside the worlds best.

We’re proud to announce our participation in the Māoriland Indigenous Co-Lab—a transformative talent development programme championing the next wave of Indigenous feature filmmakers from Aotearoa NZ.

We're teaming up with writer/director Aroha Awarau—award-winning journalist, playwright, filmmaker (and unapologetic Oprah superfan)—to bring his powerful vision to life.

HIDDEN is a bold, high-stakes crime thriller that dives deep into whānau, faith, and survival, set in the beating heart of Aotearoa’s q***r underground.

This story is fierce, necessary, and unforgettable. You’ll want to keep your eyes on this one.

Supported by NZ Film Commission.
