Dinuguan Recipe🤤♥️

Ingredients:
1 lb pork cut into cubes
1 cup vinegar
2 pieces long green pepper
1 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
1 piece onion chopped finely
1 tablespoon garlic minced
3 tablespoon cooking oil
1 cup water
10 oz pork blood
1 piece pork cube boullion
salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:
Heat oil in a pan. Sauté garlic and onion.
Once the onion softens, add pork. Continue to sauté for 5 minutes or until light brown.
Pour water. Let boil.
Add pork cube. Cook in low heat until the meat tenderizes.
Add pork blood. Stir. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes while stirring.
Pour vinegar and add sugar and long green pepper. Cook for 12 to 15 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper as needed.
Serve hot with rice or p**o 😋!

Delicious Steamed Rice Cakes

Ingredients:
- 220g rice flour (1 & 3/4 cups)
- 40g tapioca starch (1/4 cup)
- 200ml coconut milk (1/2 can)
- 100g sugar (1/2 cup)
- 180ml warm water (3/4 cup)
- 3.5g instant dry yeast (1 & 1/4 tsp)

Instructions
1. Prepare Batter:
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl.
- Cover the bowl and let the mixture ferment in a warm area for 1-2 hours until bubbly.

2. Steam Cakes:
- Boil a pot of water and place silicone molds into the steamer to heat up.
- Once hot, stir the fermented batter and carefully pour it into the molds.
- Steam for 10-15 minutes.

Tip: cover the lid with a kitchen towel to prevent water droplets.

3. Serve:
- Remove from molds and enjoy!

Three Tasty Gravies to Make at Home

Recipes 👇

1. White Gravy

Ingredients:
1/4 cup unsalted butter can sub bacon fat
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2-2 1/2 cups whole milk
2 pinches of cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste

Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add the flour, whisking continuously for about 3 minutes or until lightly browned.

Slowly whisk in the milk until smooth and creamy. Whisk in the cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt and black pepper.

Continue cooking while whisking frequently until the gravy has thickened to your desired consistency.

Pour over fresh biscuits, fried chicken, or mashed potatoes and enjoy!

2. Chicken Gravy

Ingredients
2 tablespoons butter (or chicken drippings)
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 ½ cups chicken broth
½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
½ teaspoon onion powder (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
¼ cup heavy cream (optional for extra richness)

Instructions

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups Mung beans
1 tbsp garlic
1/2 kilo pork thinly sliced
Dahon ng ampalaya
1 piece tomato chopped
1 piece onion chopped
8 pieces shrimp optional
2 tablespoons fish sauce
4cups water for boiling
1 piece Knorr beef cube for flavoring
1/2 cup crushed pork chicharon

Instructions:
1. In a pan, put-in the water and bring to a boil
Put-in the Mung beans and simmer until becomes soft

2. On a separate pan, sauté the garlic,onion, and tomato. Add the pork. Cook for 5 mins and add fish sauce. Simmer until the meat is tender.

3. Add the shrimp. Stir and then cook for 2 minutes.

4. Pour the cooked Mung beans. Stir and then simmer for 10 minutes

5. Add the dahon ng ampalaya andchicharon

MANGO TAPIOCA RECIPE🥭
Ingredients:
3 ripe mangoes
1 can condensada (370 ml)
1 can evaporada (370 ml)
1 all purpose cream (optional)
1 nata de coco
1 cup small sago cooked (white/clear)
25g gelatin powder yellow (manggo flavor)

Procedures:
1. In a pot pour 1.5L water add the gelatin powder (25g) and bring to a boil.

2. When boils remove from heat and let it set.

3. Peel the mangoes and slice it into cubes.

4. Cut the jelly into cubes

5. In a large bowl combine all the ingredients, mangoes, sago and the jelly then add the 370 ml kremdensada, evaporated milk and all purpose cream.

6. Mix all together, into the freezer for 3 hrs or you can add ice cubes to serve it right away.

Soysauce Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

Half of the chicken
2.5 tbsp soy sauce
2.5 tbsp dark soy sauce
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp sugar
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tbsp five-spice powder
1/2 tsp white pepper
Sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions:

Marinate the chicken:
Combine soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, sugar, garlic, five-spice powder, and white pepper in a bowl.

Add the chicken thighs and coat them thoroughly in the marinade.

Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for better flavor.

Cook the chicken:

Air fryer method:
Place the chicken in the air fryer, skin side facing up.
Cook at 380°F (190°C) for 20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Oven method:
Place the chicken on a baking sheet, skin side facing up.
Bake at 420°F (220°C) for 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Stovetop method:
Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
Sear the chicken thighs, skin side down, for 2 minutes.
Flip the chicken and sear for another 2 minutes.
Pour in the marinade and reduce heat to low-medium.
Cover and simmer for 7 minutes.
Flip the chicken, cover, and simmer for another 7 minutes.
Flip again so the skin is up and baste with the sauce.
Serve:
Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds (optional).
Serve with rice and vegetables.

Ingredients:
1 kilo maskara pig’s face, cleaned
1/4 lb chicken liver
1 piece onion onion, sliced
4 pieces Thai chili chopped
2 pieces Jalapeno pepper sliced crosswise
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 thumb ginger minced
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon granulated white sugar
3 tablespoons soy sauce
Salt to taste
6 cups water

Instructions:
1. Bring water to a boil in a large pot.

2. Add the maskara. Cover the pot and continue to boil until it gets tender.

3. Remove the maskara from the pot and discard the water.

4. Coat the maskara with soy souce by pouring it over and rub. Let it stay for 5 minutes.

5. Heat-up the grill. Start to grill the maskara for 3 to 5 minutes per side. At the same time, arrange a greased aluminum foil over the grill and put the chicken liver on it. Grill each side for 5 minutes.

6. Remove the maskara and chicken liver from the grill. Let it cool down. Chop and then Set aside.

7. On a large mixing bowl, combine vinegar, mayonnaise, sugar, ground black pepper, and salt. Mix well.

8. Add the onion, Thai chili, Jalapeno pepper, ginger, maskara, and chicken liver. Toss until all the ingredients are well blended.

PORK IGADO RECIPE❤️
Ingredients:
📌4 tablespoon annatto oil
📌1 medium onion diced
📌4 cloves garlic minced
📌500 grams pork belly cut into strips
📌500 grams pork liver cut into strips
📌2 ½ cup water
📌¾ cup vinegar
📌¼ cup soy sauce
📌3 pcs bay leaf
📌1 medium carrot julienned
📌1 small white radish julienned
📌1 small green bell pepper julienned
📌1 small red bell pepper julienned
📌¾ cup green peas salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Saute onion and garlic in annato oil. Add the liempo and cook until the pieces turn light brown then add the liver. cook for three minutes and season to taste.

2. Pour in 1½ cup water. Let it boil then reduce the heat and simmer, uncovered until all liquids are almost gone. Turn the heat up to high, then add the vinegar. (Do not stir at any point during this stage.) Lower heat to medium once the acid from the vinegar diffuses.

3. Stir briefly then remove the liver and set aside.

4. Add the soy sauce, bay leaves, carrots, white radish, and bell peppers. Cook for 2 minutes.

5. Add back the liver and pour about 1 cup water. Add the green peas and let them simmer until vegetables are cooked.

6. Turn the heat off and transfer it to a serving dish. Serve with steaming hot rice.

FILIPINO STYLE PINEAPPLE PIE

Ingredients:
4 cups bread flour or all-purpose flour (plus more for kneading)
½ cup sugar
⅔ cup butter or margarine, cut into small cubes
½ cup powdered milk
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 ½ cups water

Pineapple Filling:

1 pack pineapple flavor powdered juice
6 cups water
2 cups sugar
¼ tsp egg yellow food color
3 ½ cups cornstarch (dissolve in 3 cups of water)
1 tbsp vanilla extract

For the Egg Wash:

1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp water
a drop of egg yellow food color

Procedures:

1.In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients: 4 cups bread flour, ½ cup powdered milk, 2 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt and ½ cup sugar.

2. Mix until combined.

3.Add 1 ½ cups water and ⅔ cup butter or margarine. Mix until well incorporated and forms into a dough. Add more flour for kneading.

4.Knead until the dough becomes smooth.

5.Cut the dough into two parts. Flatten the first half of the dough using a rolling pin.

6.After flattening the dough, place it into the greased baking pan. You may cut the excess dough but I prefer to leave it there and fit it on the sides of the pan.

7.Poke holes on the dough using a fork. Set aside.
Knead the other half of the dough. Flatten using a rolling pin. Set aside.

8.In a medium bowl, combine 3 ½ cups cornstarch and 3 cups of water. Mix until cornstarch dissolves. Set aside.

Pineapple Filling:

1.In a large cooking pan, combine 6 cups water, 2 cups sugar and 1 pack pineapple flavor powdered juice. Stir to combine.

2.Turn on the heat. Add 1 tbsp vanilla extract and ¼ tsp egg yellow food color. Stir to combine. Bring to a boil.

3.Add the cornstarch mixture. Stir continuously until mixture becomes thick.

4.mmediately pour the pineapple filling into the prepared baking pan.
Then, place the other half flatten dough on top of the filling. Cut the excess dough. Make sure to cover and seal the filling.

5.Brush the top of the pie with egg wash.

6.Poke holes on the dough using a fork.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350 F / 180 C for 30-40 minutes.

SOTANGHON (Vermicelli Noodles) Soup RECIPE
Ingredients :
2 tbsp cooking oil
1 medium onion, sliced thin
4 cloves of garlic, sliced thin
Small size of ginger thin slice
1 Kg boneless chicken, cut into bite size
1 Knorr chicken cube
1/2 tsp ground pepper
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp achuete (annatto) powder
1 large carrot, cut into strips
3 cups water or chicken broth
1 medium bell pepper, cut into strips
200 grams sotanghon noodles, soaked until soft and drained
2 cups chopped cabbage
1 tsp sesame oil
3 stalk green onion, cut into pieces
salt as needed

Instructions :
Using a wok or a wide pan, heat over medium heat and add cooking oil. Saute onion and garlic for about a minute until soft and aromatic. Add boneless chicken and stir to combine. Allow chicken to cook for about 5 minutes.
Add chicken cube, ground pepper, soy sauce and oyster. Stir and allow to cook for few minutes. Add achuete powder and stir to combine. Allow to cook for a minute. Add carrots and water. Cover and bring into a quick boil. Reduce heat to simmer for about 10-15 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked. (Add a cup or more of water as needed as brands of noodles varies)
Add bell peppers and drained sotanghon. Gently stir to combine. Cook over low heat for about 10 minutes or until noodles is fully cooked while stirring gently occasionally.
Add cabbage to the wok and stir. Cover wok and allow cabbage to cook for few minutes. Drizzle sesame oil to the noodles and stir gently to combine. Garnish with green onions and do a quick stir. Transfer in a serving plate and serve while hot with lemon wedges or sliced calamansi. Enjoy!

Lemon Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

2 lbs chicken pieces (drumsticks, thighs, or wings)
2 lemons, one juiced and one sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp honey or sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
Fresh herbs (mint or cilantro), chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Marinate the chicken:
In a bowl, combine lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, soy sauce, honey (or sugar), salt, pepper, and paprika. Add the chicken pieces and mix well, ensuring they are coated evenly. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 6 hours in the refrigerator.

2. Preheat oven:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

3. Arrange chicken:
Place the sliced lemons at the bottom of a baking dish. Arrange the marinated chicken pieces over the lemon slices.

4. Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the juices run clear. Baste the chicken with the marinade halfway through cooking.

5. Garnish and serve:
Remove from the oven and garnish with sesame seeds and fresh herbs. Serve hot with rice or roasted vegetables.

INGREDIENTS

✔️1 kg. pork belly (cut into serving pieces)
✔️1/4 cup vinegar
✔️1/4 cup soy sauce
✔️3/4 cup pineapple juice
✔️1 medium onion (chopped)
✔️5 cloves garlic (minced)
✔️2 tbsp. brown sugar
✔️2 pieces star anise (optional)
✔️1/4 cup banana blossom
✔️1/4 cup salted black beans (rinsed)
✔️1 tsp. whole peppercorns
✔️2 pcs. bay leaf
✔️2 - 3 cups water (as needed)

PROCEDURE

1. Marinate the pork in soy sauce, vinegar and pineapple juice for at least 1 hour.

2. After marinating, drain the meat and reserve the marinade. Then, sear the meat until light brown and the oil is rendered. Then, remove from the pan and leave the oil for sauteing.

3. Saute' onion and garlic until fragrant. Put the seared meat back to the pan. Saute' for a minute. Then add the reserved marinade. Add the star anise, peppercorns, brown sugar, bay leaf and enough water to cook the meat until tender. Simmer in low heat for 1 hour or until the meat is soft and tender.

4. Once the meat is tender, add the banana blossom and salted black beans. Simmer for another 5 minutes or until the sauce is reduced.

Enjoy with hot rice!
