وزارتِ محنت، سلطنت عمان نے قومی دن کی تعطیلات کے دوران ملازمین سے لیے جانے والے کام کے حوالے سے ہدایات جاری کی ہیں۔ وزارت کے مطابق اگر کسی ملازم کو قومی دن کے سرکاری تعطیل کے دوران کام پر بلایا جاتا ہے تو اس کے بدلے میں اسے دو اختیارات دیے جائیں گے: یا تو اُس کام کے لیے اضافی معاوضہ دیا جائے گا، یا پھر اُسے بعد میں اُتنی ہی مدت کی چھٹی دی جائے گی۔

وزارت نے اس بات پر خاص زور دیا ہے کہ یہ قواعد سرکاری اور نجی دونوں طرح کے اداروں پر یکساں لاگو ہوں گے اور کسی بھی ملازم کو اس حق سے محروم نہیں کیا جا سکتا۔ اس اقدام کا مقصد یہ یقینی بنانا ہے کہ قومی جوش و خروش کے موقع پر بھی ملازمین کے حقوق کا تحفظ ہو اور ان کے ساتھ کوئی ناانصافی نہ ہو۔
