One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to in my life. 📍Machu pichu, Cusco, Peru 🇵🇪 walked 10k+ steps, in an altitude of 2430m, huffed and panted, and it was all so worth it. (Also kinda used to the altitude now after being here for 3 weeks+)

Still processing. can’t believe I got to see this on a weekend trip!! So grateful.

For over a year in 2025, I struggled with sleeping late, eating well, and feeling disconnected from myself, all while living in the city (Calgary, New Delhi, Mexico City).

Lately, I’ve been working remotely from Cusco, Peru 🇵🇪, renting an Airbnb and living 360° surrounded by mountains. And clearly, it has been hard to find the comfort foods I relied on, no quick shopping dopamine hits, no food deliveries, old habits, and patterns.

Somewhere along the way, the “scarcity” of the things I was relying on to escape myself- made me physically uncomfortable.

2 months later, as I went outside the city even more, I sat among the mountains, grass, and sun… in surrender and discomfort. And I accepted. I accepted that I didn’t need what I thought I did, where I was made me happier than anything else I was relying on ever was.

So here I am, now. Loving being with the earth more than ever. (Not going to lie I do feel homesick sometimes, but this is the journey).
