The FOH rig for the current Disturbed tour, ℅ engineer Brad Divens / fixintogetmixin.
5254 (bass guitar group): "Great for bringing the bass forward while adding clarity and presence in the midrange. With the mix k**b I’m able to blend it to taste for the perfect tone.”
Shelford Channel (vocals): "Destined to become a classic channel strip. Warm and fuzzy comes to mind. Musical EQ and a fantastic compressor with the added feature being Red or Blue Silk. Pair this with the 5045 Primary Source Enhancer and you’ve got everything you need to keep the vocal sitting in the mix.”
5059 Summing Mixer: "All my inputs are sent to groups and all groups are sent to the summing mixer. Stereo A is feeding the MBP. This is my first time using the 5059 and I can already see it staying in my FOH rack. With the addition of transformers to my signal path there is more depth and warmth to the mix. Rupert never disappoints!”
Portico II Master Buss Processor (mix buss): "I used this for the first time in plugin form on a Yamaha Rivage console. I was immediately hooked. Now I’m using the hardware and it’s exactly what I expected. One of my favorite features is SFE. Being able to add depth and width to the mix just imparts another level of pure sonic bliss.”
“…and we’re using RNDIs for the bass too!”
Thank you Brad! 🤘🎛
