Here's another dull, almost 60 years old reTIRED granny (living together in a suburb with my 14 years older husband). We are a very quiet couple. I don't idolize (or even listen to) any music band or person but hubby I adore, just love, love, love. For one of many reasons because he is so quiet. That feels so comfortable in the silence of our home - we don't even listen to the radio. Just love to be empty headed.
I have a few friends (maybe threeish), who I only see like once a year. Those friends are really dear to me.
I would rather blend into the wallpaper than talk about me, but here comes: I just love knitting, I have i.g some 150 pairs of selfmade woolen socks stored to a closet (apart to those 100 pairs I made for me and my closest) I don't do anything with those stored socks, exept store them, I just love to knit. And to make silver jewelry. To the closet also. (Some photos)
I hate the 6 months lasting winter, even though that gives me more time to knit and make jewelry. It seems I need to rethink whether I love or hate it. Gladly we are already having spring, although here in Finland it's a fool's spring atm, as it is snowing.
Glassware gives me joy. I just love the combination of glass and light, I even made (guided) once a glass plate and my husband made me a vase, see picture.
In our house there are no plants or we don't have any pets. If we had any, those would be dead by now (plants, I mean). If somebody brings me flowers, they must acknowledge that those are from that moment on in terminal care, and will survive only days. I love to keep everything in order, maybe I have OCD or something (photo)?
I love kayaking and photographing flowers. (Photos)
Today we are having minced (moose)meat soup with some rye bread and cheese. I drink milk, a lot. (Photo)
I'm 157 cm or 5,1 ft short, and my shoe size is 37 or 4, US 6,5. I don't have much self-confidence. Love ripe bananas, and sometimes I go bananas, for example because of round little stones. Insta: retkieukko

hi ladies, I'm 28, shoe size 10. married for 10 years. I lead a dull life in a commune, housed in a 5 bedroom duplex we've owned for 7 years. my roommates are my family. I personally have two dogs, but my husband and roommates have dogs and cats. we have a giant garden and we all contribute equally and fairly. I also am a chronic illness warrior. I have a five year old son on the spectrum and he is the most sarcastic and hilarious little person.

Hello, fellow dullettes! Since my sweet old man, Gizmo, passed, I've been trying to occupy myself on the weekends. He didn't like long walks anyway. So now I am forcing myself to explore more. I live in a historically rich area near phila. No, I'm not rich, lol there's a ton of history here in SE Pennsylvania. I'm not a huge history buff, but there is something to be said about walking on trails and being in areas where George Washington (aka GW, or "Gee Dub") and his troops once lived/camped/defended America. Today's trail was one of those areas. I had hoped to see a raptor or two, but really didn't. Saw a blue heron doing it's patient hunting thing, and a few turkey vultures circling above over yonder, but that was it. Anyway, was good to get out and be in nature for a bit. Size 8'ish shoe and no banana 🍌

I might be dull, but I had a moment of excitement yesterday, when Beatrice, the resident (and very pregnant) blue tongue lizard decided to go into the backyard and try to sleep in the dog bed. Of course this resulted in absolute bedlam, where Lizzie let out her very specific “Beatrice Bark” and everyone else decided to join in with what can only be described as ‘A Chaotic Canine Choir’ before I insisted they “Stop the malarkey” and put them all inside. After the canine flash mob was gone, I managed to wrangle Beatrice with a towel as my mother yelled instructions from the window, like “try a BIGGER towel!”, and “don’t let her know your next move!”. After capturing her intrepid, scaly self, I popped her back out on the front porch step where she usually resides. She seemed completely unbothered by the entire excursion. I still made it to work with a minute to spare despite Beatrice’s best efforts to ruin my perfect track record.
No banana as there’s a grocery store shortage atm.

Hello, all. I’m 71, retired six years, and live with my dachshund on 35 acres in central Pennsylvania. I stay home a lot, wandering around my fields and woods taking pictures of whatever flora and fauna I see. I feed birds and photograph them as well. I like to share my pictures on Facebook for my friends to enjoy. An outing is running errands, but I do get out with friends from time to time. I have actually gone three months on one tank of gas. 😅 Retirement is a relief after many years of working as a human services case manager, which involved a lot of traveling for home visits. I like the slow pace I have now. It’s dull but it’s the way I like it.

Bought some raspberries at our local store and they had some white stuff on one…
So I zoomed in to photograph it like any self-respecting citizen would - interestingly, these pillows were at the same store same day I bought the berries!
43, tired, listening to Keaggy on way home….

I have this painting hanging in my hallway. It was painted by my son when he was 3 years old. I always thought it looked good enough to be a professional modern art piece. What do you think? My son is now 26 years old.

I introduced myself last week, and seriously, I was overwhelmed at the kindess from this wonderful group of people! I posted a pic of myself and some cupcakes I made. You see, I'm a wedding baker, and thought it would be a good visual to include my craft. So many of you made such kind remarks and requested my buttercream recipe---so much for being dull! I felt like the belle of the ball! Anyway, a few asked me to post photos from my next wedding bakes, so here's a real look inside my world of "slinging buttercream for a living!" This wedding called for a mini 2-tiered wedding cake in red velvet, as well as red velvet, strawberry, and vanilla cupcakes. The floral cupcakes haunted me for months. I'm more of a swirl & scroll cake decorator, but I diligently watched videos and practiced beforehand and shazaam!! The florals turned out so well I almost cried!! I'm still terrible at roses but que sera sera, eh? Have a great week, fellow fabulous----'er, I mean fellow dullards!! 😉 Regards from Dahlonega, Georgia.
