Joseph Odhiambo a form 4 student kidnapped himself on Thursday, January 5, demanding KSh 20,000 from his single mother.

He soaked his clothes in cow blood to trick the mother that he had been abducted by dangerous people.

After four days he returned home on realising the month won’t pay the ransom.

His mother frogmarched him to the police station after he confessed.
