Coffee Co-operative Crusade (3Cs) under CIC-PACD Project headed by Team Leader and CIC-PACD Project Manager Potaisa Hombunaka assisted by Eastern Zone Senior Partnership Officer Raymond Dalla with Team are at Tompena Community to official launch or hand over the Tompena Coffee Cooperative Society Certificate to the members on the 27th of February, 2027.

NOTE;
This film is a coverage of the first segment featuring the Tompena Launch in the morning whilst the second segment featuring Ikana Launch was done in the afternoon. It will be featured after this story. Both launching were staged on the same date.

RURAL TV Papua New Guinea (RTVPNG) will be broadcasting a full coverage of CIC-PACD's "Coffee Co-operative Crusade" (3Cs) Program rollout on its News & Current Affairs Program "Connecting with Rural Coffee Farmers in Papua New Guinea (CwRCFiPNG).

Follow us on this TV Channel (RTVPNG) in the month of July and August 2025 for more in-depth stories featuring Coffee Cooperative Society Certificate Launching throughout Eastern Highlands and parts of Simbu Province.

CIC-PACD (Coffee Component) Project development stories will also be featured on this channel.

Part 01.
Coffee Industry Corporation (CIC) presents a film titled "Beyond the Coffee Market". It is a documentary film produced in 2016 and features the plight of rural based small-holder coffee farmers' challenges and struggles in bring their coffee to nearest point of sale.

CIC saw the plight of the remote rural coffee farmers and established the Coffee Freight Subsidy or Surety Program back then to assist in subsidizing the freight costs through air and sea. It's still continuing to this day.

"RURAL TELEVISION NETWORK (RTVPNG) Broadcasting Facility hosts 1265 BROADCAST TECH , TV Broadcast Engineering Team"
Rural Television Network (RTVPNG) is privileged and ecstatic to host our Rural TV Broadcast Project's TV Broadcast Engineering Team, a Papua New Guinean owned Lae, Morobe Province based, 1265 Broadcast Tech.

They were accompanied by our own locally based NBC - Eastern Highlands (KBKFM) Technical Engineer John Akuila.

The visit was to reaffirm the final engineering scope of works, which now begins the process into the formal establishment of the rural television broadcast transmission infrastructure required by the project.

It has been a long and winding road since 2015, nonetheless the Rural TV Broadcast Project is gradually progressing despite all the challenges faced, will surely see it's completion sooner by God's Grace. Praise God🙏.
