The dream of having two (2) Fly River Provinces (Split of Western) got over the first hurdle of being endorsed and voted by the Fly River Provincial Assembly today in Daru, the 23rd of April 2025.

This historical vote and victory for the Province must now be blessed by the National Executive Council before the 2027 National General Elections.

The dream, the hope for a greater Fly River Province remains alive..

Hon. Borok Pitalok bows out of politics.

President of the Star Mountain LLG, Hon. Pitalok made his retirement speech today at the FRPG Assembly.
He is instrumental in ensuring land issues surrounding the operations of the OK Tedi Mine was always kept in check and has remained unopposed throughout all LLG Elections.

Thankyou for your leadership and steadfast commitment to ensuring progress in Western Province.

On the eve of the Local Level Government Elections for 2025, the Fly River Provincial Government held its last formal Assembly meetings in Daru today.
