Village Life 🌿🔥

In the quiet dawn, the mist still lies,
Over mountains tall and endless skies.
Children wake with laughter bright,
To serve their mothers with morning light.

Barefoot paths where rivers sing,
We gather firewood, bundle and bring.
Each stick a story, each crack a song,
Of village hands that make us strong.

The mother smiles, her arms at rest,
Her children’s love becomes her nest.
Cooking smoke curls through the air,
Sweet kaukau roasting with tender care.

Village life, so simple, true,
Work and joy in all we do.
From breaking wood to planting seed,
We find our wealth in love, not greed.

And when the evening stars appear,
We sit together, family near.
The crack of wood, the kundu’s beat,
Life in the village—so pure, so sweet.
