Words of prayers wander around as the students and staff of Colegio de San Juan de Letran - Bataan roam around the streets of Orani, Bataan. As the moon shines light, the candles illuminate the faith of students, staff, and onlookers this Sunday evening at the Plaza of Orani, on October 5, 2025.
Led by the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary, along with a parade of saints including an alumnus of the Colegio, St. Vincent Liem de la Paz, Colegio de San Juan de Letran-Bataan, along with the devoted followers of the Virgin Mary, presents their unwavering devotion. The faithful people involved moved as one. The air was thick with reverence but also with something lighterโhope, perhaps, or the quiet joy of belonging to something greater than oneself.
Around the same time last year, as per tradition, Colegio de San Juan de Letran - Bataan participated in the same grand procession of the Birheng Milagrosa ng Orani. The grand procession stands as a commanding testament to the deep faith and unwavering devotion of Letran-Bataan to the Blessed Virgin Mary, reflecting the communityโs enduring commitment.
Through such expressions of conviction, Letran-Bataan continues to honor its spiritual heritage and strengthen its identity as an institution rooted in faith, love, and service.
