This past September 8, 2025, Monday, at the Colegio de San Juan de Letran - Bataanโs gymbahan, the whole campus gathered to celebrate the Eucharistic Celebration of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Rev. Fr. Reynor Munsayac, O.P., presided over the Eucharistic Celebration, further strengthening the bond between the Letranites and the Blessed Virgin Mary on her day of birth. Following the mass was the Arriba Address, hosted by Asst. Prof. Norady M. Pere, PhD, addresing the communication gap of the students during the era of the pandemic and the accessible support of the student services present in the Colegio. After the insightful discussion with Ms. Pere, certificates were given to multiple members of the Letran - Bataan Family for the โTulong Letranista Certificationsโ.
Rev. Fr. Raymund Fernando P. Jose, O.P. was set to address the whole campus as well. Before talking about the future and the goals of the Colegio for the foreseeable future, Rev. Fr. Jose reported the accomplishments of the past academic year, mentioning the student achievements during the session. He then discussed the Colegio's plans to make the campus a better place, not just for the students and staff, but also the environment. Sustainability Initiatives in response to Climate Change and Environmental Concerns, establishing the Sustainability: Letran as a Green Campus initiative, and Plastic-Free Day: Bring your own tumblers and bento boxes, to name a few.
Rev. Fr. Jose also went on to address the goals the campus has set with regard to the students with some of the priorities or projects for the A.Y. of 2025-2026 by establishing "Academic Excellence: Signature Pedagogy in Sync", Reviewing and Revising the Curriculum of IBED and Collegiate Department, and Integrated Robotics that is geared to automation, artificial intelligence, and data analytics. Along with some that focuses on the extracurricular side of the campus with the plan of bringing back the sports program for the Colegio, as some of the things that were discussed during the goals for this academic year.
With the event coming to a close, and now almost a month in since the start of classes for the Collegiate Department, both students and staff of Colegio de San Juan de Letran - Bataan gear up for what's ahead of the A.Y. 2025-2026.
