Anak, happy birthday at 18!
Today is a very significant turning point in your life. You're now legally an adult, and I'm so proud of the incredible young woman you've grown up to be. It's amazing how fast the years have passed, but I can't wait to see all the amazing things you'll accomplish in the years to come.
I still vividly recall the day you were born. Since then, you have filled our lives with so much love and joy. We have enjoyed watching you develop and gain information throughout the years since you have always been curious and hungry for knowledge. You are compassionate, intelligent, and funny, and you always make my day better.
I know you'll face many difficulties as you enter this new stage of your life, but I also know you have the fortitude, tenacity, and resolve to get through them. Keep in mind that you have my love and support no matter what occurs. No matter what, I'll always be here for you.
