We all have chapters we don’t read out loud. Past decisions, wrong turns, and moments we wish we could undo—but they’re part of what made us wiser, stronger, and more compassionate. So when someone trusts you with their story, don’t use it as a weapon. Use it as a reminder of how far they’ve come.
People grow. They heal. They change. And holding their past against them only exposes how much you haven’t grown. Grace doesn’t mean ignoring mistakes—it means recognizing that redemption is possible for everyone, including you.
Let’s normalize understanding instead of judgment. Because the same grace you withhold today might be the very grace you’ll need tomorrow.
