One of the most important things we can do for our business is to connect and engage with our followers.

The following are some recommended practices you may follow to successfully engage with your audience:

✅Provide value in your post – if they feel that they are being helped by your content , they will more likely follow you through and would definitely comment with your posts.

✅Post when your audience is most engaged. – always observe your analytics when are your audience mostly active,note the day and time they mostly engage with your content.

✅Reply to comments on your post – this will let your audience see that you are always active and you don’t ignore them.

In this way they will feel that you care for them and will help you build a genuine
relaitonshiship with them.

✅Be genuine with your response – always let them feel that you appreciate their response with your content.

✅Consider using Instagram's interactive features, such as polls, quizzes, and Instagram Live, to engage with your audience in real-time. These features can help you connect with your followers on a deeper level and build stronger relationships with them.

If your audience perceived that you value them and care about them, it will be easier for you to convert them into your follower and later on they will become your paying cusatomer.

I had a difficult time progressing when I first started learning how to become a social media manager last year because I couldn't comprehend some of the terminology I was reading online.👀

✨So, if I were to go back, these would be the words I would start studying.

✅Algorithm:

➡️An algorithm is a set of rules that determines how content is displayed on social media platforms such as Instagram.
The algorithm takes into account factors such as engagement, post frequency, and relevance to determine how widely a post is shown to a particular audience.💙

✅Brand Kit:

➡️It is a collection of visual elements that define a brand's identity, including the logo, color scheme, typography, and other design elements.💙

✅Marketing Plan:

➡️it is a strategic document that outlines a business's marketing goals and how they plan to achieve them. It includes target audience, competition, budget, and specific tactics for reaching potential customers.💙

✅Customer Avatar:

➡️It is a fictional representation of a business's ideal customer. It includes information such as demographics, interests, pain points, and buying behavior to help the business create targeted marketing campaigns.💙

✅Content Calendar:

➡️It is a schedule that outlines the dates and topics for a business's social media posts. 💙

✅Content Pillars:

➡️These are the main topics or themes that a business's content is based on. These pillars should be aligned with the brand's identity and the needs and interests of the target audience.💙

✅Copy:

➡️It refers to the written content for a specific post. It is important to create copy that is clear, concise, and engaging to the target audience.💙

✅Call to Action:

➡️It is a phrase or statement that prompts the reader or viewer to take a specific action, after reading your content.💙

✅Engagement:

➡️KPI stands for Key Performance Indicator, which is a measurable value that indicates how well a business is achieving its marketing and business goals.

✅Use relevant and specific hashtags for your content and niche.
✨ex. If your post is about alogorithm ,you can use hashtags that are also related to algorithm like , or if it’s about beauty you can use a hashtag like business.

✅Always make your hashtags relevant to your post so that Instagram will push it to the algorithm.
✅Avoid using too many hashtags in a single post.
✨The recommended hashtags to use on every post is 30 but it still depends whether how many no. of hashtags work best in your strategy. In my case, I only use 11-15hashtags and it’s good enough , others use 8, others use 20.

✅Use hashtags that your ideal client use – if you are prospecting a potential client , you can visit their profile and observe what are the hashtags they are using , then use them on your content.

✨In this way, they are possible to be reached by your content.

✅Follow authorities in your industry – by following them , you can learn from their content , observe their strategies , content , how the way they keep their audience engaged.

✨In this way , you can get an idea of how you will craft your own strategy.But do not copy them because you will not stand out.
