2025 District Schools Press Conference Unfolds

ALCANTARA, ROMBLON — The 2025 District Schools Press Conference for elementary and secondary levels opened on September 12 at Alcantara National High School–SHS Campus, with the theme “Rebuilding the Truth of our Nation in the AI Era: Empowering Youth as Truth-seekers and Storytellers.”

The annual competition featured contests in editorial writing, news writing, sports writing, copyreading and headline writing, feature writing, column writing, science and technology writing, and radio broadcasting and scriptwriting, tv broadcasting and Scriptwriting, online and collaborative desktop publishing for groups.

Keynote speaker Andrew G. Dalisay emphasized the importance of the ABC method in writing—Accuracy, Brevity, and Clarity—reminding young journalists to ensure authenticity in their stories.

Nine elementary schools and three secondary schools across the district participated in the event.
