ACCS JOINS THE 3RD QUARTER NATIONWIDE SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILL (NSED) 2026

Alfonso Castañeda Central School (ACCS) actively joined the Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) together with the other schools in the lowland area of Alfonso Castañeda District.

The earthquake drill was conducted alongside the INSET (In-Service Training), bringing together teachers and school personnel in a meaningful activity that emphasized the importance of preparedness, quick response, and safety during earthquakes and other emergencies. 🦺📢

Adding valuable support to the activity were personnel from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (MDRRM), who participated in and evaluated the conduct of the drill. Their presence and guidance helped strengthen the schools’ awareness and readiness in responding to possible disasters.

🤝 The simultaneous participation of the different schools demonstrated the power of unity and collaboration in building safer and more disaster-resilient school communities.

At ACCS, we believe that preparedness is everyone's responsibility. Every drill is an opportunity to learn, practice, and be ready—not only for an earthquake drill, but for the safety of our learners, teachers, and the entire community.

Because when disaster strikes, being prepared can save lives. ❤️

A HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO OUR BRAVE CAMPUS JOURNALISTS! 📰✍️

Thank you to our dear learners who bravely stepped out of their comfort zones and generously spared their time for training and preparation❤️

Your journey toward the Division School Press Conference (DSPC) 2026 was never easy. You gave your time, effort, energy, and even sacrificed moments that could have been spent resting or enjoying your usual routines especially in academics. Yet, you showed up, learned, practiced, tried again, and most importantly, you never gave up.

On September 4, 2026, you proudly carried not only your names but also the name of our school. Whether you brought home an award or simply gained experience, you are already winners in our eyes🏆. Your courage to participate, learn, compete, and represent our school is something we will always be proud of. May you continue to write with truth, speak with courage, and use your voices to make a difference. Keep learning, keep writing, and keep believing in yourselves! We are so proud of you! You may have joined a competition, but what you gained goes far beyond medals and certificates—confidence, courage, discipline, friendship, and memories that will stay with you. You showed us that when young people are given a chance, they can rise, shine, and make their voices heard. ❤️

To our District-in-Charge, Dr. Donald S. Calma, and our school principal, Sir Romeo G. Arcibal, thank you for your unwavering support to our dear campus journalists.

To our generous sponsors and supporters, our sincerest THANK YOU! Your kindness and generosity helped make this experience possible for our learners. Every contribution, big or small, became part of their journey. Thank you for believing in our young journalists and for supporting their dreams.

To everyone who extended their time, resources, encouragement, prayers, and support—MARAMING SALAMAT PO! 🙏

To our campus journalists, the story doesn't end here. This is only the beginning.
