🌱 BM log #26: Cebu Safari felt like the field trips I'd always looked forward to as a kid. Slower this time. We read the signs, learning about the animals, instead of rushing past them, went at our own pace, decided where to go next instead of following a set route. The sound of nature, the smell of fresh air, no one herding us to the next stop.

It reminded me of 4th grade, when field trips were the most exciting time of the year.

🌱 BM log #25: I am never too old to make wishes at wishing wells, like this one in Limasawa, located just a few steps away from the National Shrine of the First Mass.

With no tourists around, I had the wishing well all to myself. And with so many things to dream about, I figured my wishes deserved a little extra time. 💖

🌱 BM log #22: Not many people bring umbrellas on hikes but I do! Trusting my Fibrella especially on open trails. Sometimes the heat of the sun just hurts the skin a lot!

🌱 BM log #21: Tried this filling breakfast trio in Cebu called BudSikMan (Budbud + Sikwate + Mangga).

Budbud is a sticky rice delicacy cooked with coconut milk and wrapped in banana leaves and Sikwate is the Visayan term for traditional hot chocolate made by boiling tablea.
