Happy Birthday, my Sister Karen 🤍
Today isn’t just about celebrating the day you were born, it’s about celebrating the incredible blessing you are in my life. Being my only sister means you’ve been more than just family. You have been my first friend, my second mother, my honest adviser, my greatest rival, and my lifelong partner in crime.
You stepped into so many roles without even realizing it. You’ve protected me like a mother when I felt weak. You’ve guided me with wisdom when I was confused. You’ve corrected me when I was wrong, even when I didn’t want to hear it. And somehow, you’ve always known when to scold me and when to hold me.
You’ve been my safe place. The person I can call when I’m breaking down, when I’m excited, when I’m angry, when I just need someone to understand without explaining too much. With you, I never have to pretend. You’ve seen my worst moods, my childish moments, my stubborn side, and you’ve loved me anyway.
And yes… you’ve also been my enemy sometimes 😅 The arguments, the fights, the “I’m not talking to you” moments. But even in those times, there was never real distance. Because at the end of every disagreement, we always find our way back to laughter, to teasing, to sharing secrets like nothing ever happened. That’s the beauty of what we have, it’s unbreakable.
You are also my accomplice in everything. From our craziest ideas to our deepest conversations at odd hours. From childhood memories that still make us laugh to grown-up responsibilities we now face together. Life feels lighter knowing I have you beside me.
Sister Karen, I admire the woman you are. Your strength, your heart, your resilience. The way you carry your burdens quietly. The way you care for others even when you’re tired. The way you love deeply and fiercely. You inspire me more than you know.
On your birthday, I want you to feel celebrated, valued, and cherished, not just today, but every day. I pray this year brings you peace in your heart, clarity in your decisions, growth in your dreams, and joy that overflows. May every tear you’ve cried be replaced with laughter. May every sacrifice you’ve made come back to you in double blessings.
