She Tried and Tasted

One thing about me is that I like to take photos/videos of flowers and plants. On our last day at La Joya Farm Resort and Spa, I had an early morning photowalk around the farm. It was such a lovely walk. Morning sun. Beautiful flowers. Listening to the ecosystem around us. What a delight to my skin, eyes, and ears. I just felt very grounded and fully meditated.

How many flowers were you able to name?

One resolution I wrote for 2026 is to document my love for food a lot more. (Includes unearthing unpublished photos and videos in my camera roll). 😂🙈

Kickstarting this with a new found (favorite so far) Korean restaurant - SOORA Korean Restaurant.

You can tell right away if there’s love put into the business - I’ve seen this a lot in homegrown restaurants (I will go through them later on). SOORA gives the same warmth.

What I love about this restaurant:
1. The quality of meat! 🥩 this is the first thing I check when dining in Korean and Hotpot restaurants.

2. The service was amazing! Very attentive. Sophie (the GM) took her time to sweetly share what made their pollard so good! She proudly and happily shared that it didn’t use sugar but used a medley of natural sweeteners (like fruits) - and that it was high in protein and good for the body.

3. The place is spacious, ventilation is great (didn’t smell too obvious that I had Korean for dinner😅)

4. Generous servings!

Price Range: Php800-Php1,200 per person.
