Verse:
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” – Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
Reflection:
Waiting is never easy. It tests our patience, stretches our faith, and often feels like silence from heaven. But God does some of His deepest work in the waiting. Isaiah 40:31 reminds us that waiting on the Lord is not passive—it’s active trust. It means leaning into Him, holding on to His promises, and believing He’s working behind the scenes even when we can’t see it.
When we wait on the Lord, our strength is not depleted—it is renewed. Like eagles soaring above the storm, God lifts us beyond our circumstances, giving us fresh perspective, endurance, and peace. We may not always understand the delays, but we can trust that His timing is perfect and His purpose is greater than we imagine.
So take heart in the waiting. You are not forgotten. God is preparing you for something greater than you can see right now. Your strength is being renewed, and your breakthrough is on the horizon.
